Bubble Tea Toast
Bubble Tea Toast is fantastic for breakfast or as a mid-afternoon snack. Boba toast is a popular street food in Singapore and with this recipe, you can also get in on the new craze. This recipe is made simple with our Instant Tapioca Pearls and Milk Tea Powders.
Ingredients
- 2 slices of bread
- 50g whipping cream
- 50g cream cheese
- 20g salted butter
- 20g sugar
- 10g Classic Milk Tea Powder
- 75g Tapioca Pearls
Method
- Whisk together sugar, Classic Milk Tea Powder and whipping cream until mixture thickens. Add cream cheese and whisk further until soft peaks form.
- Butter one side of each bread slice and toast the buttered side on low heat. (Alternatively, you could add the filling and toast the sandwich using a toaster maker.)
- Microwave the Instant Tapioca Pearls for 30 seconds.
- Sandwich the cream filling, Instant Tapioca Pearls between the unbuttered sides of the toasts.
- Cut into triangles and tuck in!
